Lorien Headshot

Lorien put on her first pair of ballet shoes at the age of 3 and immediately fell in love.  After training in ballet solely for many years, she took a long break to focus on work and education and during that time, she stumbled into yoga, because it was more convenient to her office than the nearest dance studio and proved to be a great way to destress after a long day of work and study.

After relocating to Atlanta from the Tristate area, she returned to dance and began training and performing pretty extensively in jazz, contemporary, hip-hop and dancehall disciplines.   Ultimately, she joined the Dancefx Dance Studio jazz, contemporary and hip hop performance companies and later became Director of Muse Dance Company, which focused primarily on women's empowerment and helping them find their fierce and really falling in love with themselves again or for the first time.

This literally was the perfect primer for her next step:  BUTI Yoga.  A format that marries the intentional practice of yoga and the freeing movement of dance.  After becoming certified in Buti, Hot Buti, Buti Deep and completing the RYT 200 program, she knew she wanted to lead and share this practice with every person, women especially and dedicated herself to training and refining her practice and became a Master Trainer earlier this year.
