Dancefx’s Youth Companies
Under the direction of Kaitlin Butcher, Dancefx has 3 age divisions of youth competition companies: FX Minis (2nd and 3rd graders), FX Juniors (4th and 5th graders), and FX (6th-12th graders). Dancers receive pre-professional and professional training in ballet, jazz, contemporary and hip hop. You can find us at competitions and conventions all across the south-east such as National Dance Honors, Adrenaline, HEAT, Jump, Radix, 24Seven, ASH, DMA, Open Call, BravO etc. Dancefx has been a multiple time recipient of the coveted Standing O!Vation award at BravO! National Dance Competition, and in 2025 Dancefx received the Studio Sportsmanship Award at Adrenaline Dance Competition. Dancefx alumni are currently all over the place: Juilliard, Xcel Talent Agency, CLI Studios, professional companies in the states and across the seas, and Broadway. Those who choose the collegiate path after high school are majoring or minoring in dance programs.
Boys Company
FX Boys is our boys-only hip-hop company for dancers 2nd-5th grade.
